Safety & Operator Standards

"Safety first" is something every charter broker says. The page below is the detail behind that statement — what we actually check, who we will and will not work with, and the operational disciplines applied to every charter regardless of route, schedule, or pricing pressure.

The Eight Standards

Licensed & Approved Operators

Every operator we work with holds a current Air Operator Certificate (AOC) issued by their national civil aviation authority. We verify the AOC, the aircraft on it, and the geographic and operational scope it covers — before quoting, not after.

Aircraft Suitability

Aircraft type is matched to the journey. We check range with reserves, runway performance for the airports involved, baggage capacity for the passenger group, and cabin suitability for the duration of the flight.

Airport & Runway Suitability

Specific airports — Chambéry, Cannes-Mandelieu, London City, Samedan, Lugano, Mykonos — have published runway, terrain, weather, or steep-approach characteristics that materially affect aircraft selection and crew currency requirements. We use only operators with current approvals for the airports involved.

Crew Duty & Currency

Crew flight and duty time limits are checked at booking and again at the day of the flight. We do not push operators into duty extensions. Crew route and airport recency is confirmed for any restricted airport on the itinerary.

Weather & Operational Routing

Forecast weather is reviewed at quoting, at 24 hours, and on the day of flight. Where weather may force a diversion or cancellation, we communicate that early.

Insurance & Liability

All operators carry hull and passenger liability insurance at levels exceeding international minimums. Insurance certification is verified annually. Coverage details are available on request before contracting.

Regulation, Sanctions & Cabotage

We check sanctions and cabotage rules for every cross-border flight — UK, EU, US OFAC, UN. We do not operate flights into territories under sanctions or through restricted airspace.

Preferred Operator Relationships

A documented preferred operator list, built over 15 years and reviewed quarterly. Operators that do not meet our standards are removed regardless of pricing.
