Ibiza Airport is about 7 km south-west of Ibiza Town, usually 10 to 15 minutes by car, with San Antonio around 25 minutes and the northern beaches 35 to 45. In peak season the road from the airport is itself a bottleneck on Friday and Saturday evenings. Formentera is reached by boat from Ibiza Town, roughly 30 minutes, and is worth building into the schedule rather than treating as an afterthought.
