# Pet Charter Flights > Charter a private jet for your pets - dogs, cats, and exotic animals fly in the cabin alongside you. Pet-friendly aircraft, full DEFRA & international compliance, 24/7 worldwide. Private aviation removes the indignity, stress, and risk of commercial pet travel. Your pets fly in the cabin alongside you - no cargo holds, no temperature swings, no separation. We arrange pet-friendly charters worldwide, with full international compliance and specialist handling for everything from a single small dog to multi-animal household relocations. ## Why Fly Your Pet by Private Jet? Commercial aircraft typically transport pets in cargo holds - dark, pressurised spaces subject to temperature swings, rough handling, and significant stress. For older animals, brachycephalic breeds (pugs, bulldogs, persians, French bulldogs), exotic species, or pets with anxiety or medical conditions, cargo travel is genuinely dangerous and is increasingly refused by major airlines. On a private charter your pet travels in the cabin with you - at your feet, on your lap, or on a soft bed prepared in advance. Cabin air, gentle handling, and your familiar presence reduce anxiety dramatically. For nervous animals, the difference is transformative. ## International Pet Travel & Compliance Cross-border pet travel involves careful documentation - pet passports, microchipping, current rabies vaccinations, health certificates, and country-specific border-entry requirements. Get any one wrong and your pet can be refused entry or quarantined. Our team coordinates the full documentation pack, liaises with destination customs, and arranges DEFRA-required veterinary signatures so you arrive without surprises. We handle: - **UK ↔ EU travel** under the Pet Travel Scheme (AHC, microchip, rabies vaccination, tapeworm treatment for UK arrivals) - **Transatlantic** to the United States (CDC compliance, current rabies certificate, microchip) - **Australia & New Zealand** (extended planning, rabies blood titre tests, AQIS quarantine coordination) - **Middle East, Asia & worldwide** (country-specific protocols, tailored to each destination) ## Aircraft Selection & Cabin Set-Up We source pet-friendly aircraft based on your animal: - **Light Jets** - Solo dogs, cats, or small animals on European routes - **Midsize Jets** - Multiple pets, room to walk, longer flights - **Heavy & Ultra-Long-Range** - Large breeds, several pets, or families relocating with multiple animals on transcontinental flights Cabins are prepared in advance with absorbent flooring, water bowls, beds appropriate to your pet's size, and the ability to move during flight on longer routes. Specialist crews are briefed on your pet's temperament, feeding schedule, and any medication needs. ## Pet Relocation & Veterinary Transport Beyond holiday and homecoming flights, we routinely handle full international pet relocations - household moves where families bring multiple animals safely, often timed to arrive concurrently with the household. We also operate emergency veterinary transport, including aeromedical retrievals for time-critical animal medical care, transport to specialist veterinary surgeons, and post-surgery transfers home. Where a pet needs in-flight veterinary supervision, we can arrange a qualified vet or veterinary nurse to accompany the flight. ## At a glance - Cabin Travel: Always - Pets Per Flight: 1-10+ - Documentation: Fully Managed - Availability: 24/7 Worldwide ## Benefits - Pets fly in the cabin alongside you, never in cargo - Specialist crews briefed on your pet's needs - Full DEFRA & Pet Travel Scheme compliance managed - International documentation handled end-to-end - Custom cabin set-up - beds, bowls, absorbent flooring - Multi-pet capacity for family relocations - Veterinary supervision available on request - Aeromedical pet transport for emergencies ## Frequently asked questions ### Can my dog fly in the cabin on a private jet? Yes. On a private charter your pet always travels in the cabin alongside you - no exceptions. Most operators welcome dogs, cats, and small exotics. For larger animals, multiple pets, or breeds with extra space requirements, we'll size the aircraft accordingly. ### How much does a pet charter flight cost? Pet charter pricing follows standard private jet rates - costs depend on aircraft type, route, and number of passengers (human and animal). Contact us for an exact quote based on your route and pets. ### What documents does my pet need to travel internationally? At minimum, an EU/UK pet passport (or AHC), microchip, current rabies vaccination, and a vet-issued health certificate. Some destinations require additional treatments (tapeworm for UK arrivals) or extended preparation (rabies blood titre tests for Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong). We manage the full documentation pack and coordinate with destination customs on your behalf. ### Can my pet fly to the United States, Australia, or further afield? Yes. We routinely arrange transatlantic and intercontinental pet flights. Long-haul pet travel requires more advance planning - CDC compliance for US arrivals, AQIS quarantine coordination for Australia and New Zealand, extended timelines for rabies-free destinations - but is entirely achievable. Plan 6-8 weeks ahead for international destinations, or 6+ months for Australia/NZ. ### Do you handle full pet relocations? Yes. We handle international pet relocations including multi-pet households, large-breed dogs, exotic species, and time-coordinated moves alongside human household relocations. Our team manages every aspect from documentation to specialist handling at both origin and destination. ### My pet is nervous, elderly, or has health issues - can they still travel? Often yes - and private charter is significantly safer for stressed or ageing pets than commercial cargo travel. We brief crews on your pet's needs, can arrange veterinary supervision for at-risk animals, and choose aircraft and routings to minimise journey time. For pets with serious health issues we also offer aeromedical pet transport with full veterinary equipment on board.
